How Long Does it Take to Become a Master of Hard Yoga?

Becoming a master of hard yoga is no easy feat. It requires dedication, consistency, and a lot of practice. But how long does it take to become an expert? According to Duncan, who has studied with Paul Grilley and many other top yoga teachers, it takes around three years. However, most people start to see results within 3 to 6 months of regular practice.

The amount of time it takes to reach the 10,000-hour point varies depending on the frequency of practice, age, and consistency. If you practice two hours a day, six days a week, it would take almost 20 years to reach 10,000 hours of practice. But if you practice three hours every day and even hold technique workshops in the afternoon, you can accelerate the time needed to reach the 10,000-hour level. No matter how long it takes to become a master of hard yoga, you will still benefit from regular practice.

Practicing yoga at least three times a week can improve your concentration, flexibility, strength, and outlook on life. You may never become a master of hard yoga, but you can still enjoy the benefits that come with regular practice.
